Christ Manifested in The Flesh (English)

We receive the remission of sins by faith in the Atonement of Christ. It is then enough for us to know and completely and utterly believe that, according to the scriptures, Christ died for our sins. 1 Cor. 15, 3. It follows that, while He was here in the world, He lived without committing sin. Otherwise he would Himself have been guilty of death, and therefore His death could not possibly be an atonement for us. However, we are not just called to receive the remission of sins, but also to triumph over all sin; to follow Him who committed no sin. 1. Pet. 2, 20-24. It is precisely here that, Christ revealed in the flesh – His state as the Son of Man, His temptations, His difficulties, His struggles and victories – is of essential interest and significance to us. Therefore, it is precisely the light over Christ revealed in the flesh that is the key to a victorious life.
