This Privacy Policy Statement applies to the collection and use of personal information in connection with www.christianbookshop.org and the online store. Here you can find information regarding the purpose for gathering personal information, the information that is gathered, who is given access to it, general security information, and the rights you have.

Purpose

We use the information we have collected about you to complete your orders and to be able to answer any questions you may have to HTFP.

Provided you give your consent to this, we will also use them to keep you updated with news and offers.


We use your information for the following purposes:
- To manage your customer relationship and subscription
- To deliver the ordered goods and services
- To be able to answer any enquiries to HTFP
- To provide you with offers and to communicate with you in accordance with the consent you have given
- To develop and improve our services

What Personal Information is Processed?

We gather and process the information you have provide us with when you register and order, when checking your purchase and order history, your response to communications from us and your activity on our websites.

Sensitive personal information about you is not processed in our systems.

As our customer, we collect and process the following information about you:

- Name, address, email, telephone number and date of birth.

- Your response to general campaigns, emails, text messages

- History of membership, subscriptions, orders, purchases, as well as any activity on our websites.

By subscribing to our magazines, you agree to have the magazines sent to you, and that we can contact you via the contact information you have provided us, either directly or through the approved sharing of personal information from Brunstad Christian Church.

Purchasing history is retained for five years. After that, your details are deleted.

Persons with Access to your Personal Information

Only HTFP employees who need to process your information are given access to it. Your data is processed according to present day's strict security requirements. 

We have procedures for internal control to ensure the correct handling and securing of personal information. The personal information is processed in several IT systems, all of which have strict requirements regarding information security. All access to the systems is access-controlled, and only employees who use the information in their work will be given access to it.

HTFP is responsible for the processing of all data. We retain all information internally and do not pass it on to third parties, unless they are working on behalf of HTFP, and within the framework of the purposes described above.

We do not share or disclose personal information in any other way than as described in our privacy statement unless we are legally obligated to do so or we have obtained your consent.

Cooperating parties are only given access to the information if this is necessary in order to carry out services for us. In such cases, data processing agreements are entered into which limit their possiblity of using the information.

In situations where there is suspicion of a crime or fraud, information may be disclosed to public authorities upon their request.

HTFP’s accounts are held internally and audited by a publicly authorized auditor.

HTFP organizes the shipping of magazines through “Løkka Sportsklubb”, Sandefjord.

BCC IT Services are the data processors for the online store’s customers


Access to your Personal Information

You have the right to be given access to the personal information we hold on your behalf. You also have the right to correct, omit or restrict use, as well as to transfer this information to yourself or to another data processor.

Deletion of Personal Information

According to the Accountancy Act and its accompanying regulations, we are required to retain information for a minimum of 5 years, but all information regarding you will be deleted at the latest when your customer relationship with us has been passive for five years. You may, of course, within the framework of the statutory processing of personal data, request that we delete information about you before this, or in the event of you terminating your subscription.

Your customer relationship is considered passive, either your subscription has been terminated, or following your final order. All subscription terminations must be made in writing.
