The publishing house was established by Johan Oscar Smith when he started the paper “Hidden Treasures” together with his brother, Aksel Smith, the dentist, January 1, 1912.

The online bookstore Christian BookShop sells literature and intellectual works, primarily written and composed by members of Brunstad Christian Church (BCC), up through the ages since 1912.
