Nåden i Jesus Kristus

When one thinks of grace, then one thinks almost of forgiveness. And since we have all sinned, we need grace. Therefore, all who are burdened with sin like to hear of grace. But we only think of grace for forgiveness, and we hear that there is enough grace, then we are not so afraid of sin. Many have it that way, and it has gone such with them as Judas writes: Wicked, who turn our God's grace into shamelessness. Grace does not just mean forgiveness, but just as much help. It has not only the act of forgiving our sin, but also of deceiving us not to sin. When we see it this way, we lose the false confidence: "It is not so dangerous if we sin, because we have the grace." And then we get the true comfort: "If I am never so stuck in sin, then by grace I can be resolved and gain victory."
