It is Elias Aslaksen's serious conviction that most people who want to be with Christ when he comes are not ready for it, so they will remain standing if they remain in the state they are in. It is unpleasant to think of all the superficial and frivolous preaching that basically leads people behind the light. In complete contradiction to the many and clear words of Scripture, it is practically proclaimed in every way that when one simply believes that Jesus is the atonement for our sins, then the matter is in order. We will then be with the Lord when He comes, even if we do not do the will of God, if we are lazy and poor servants, if we are lukewarm, if we are unjust in our daily lives, if we have unresolved matters, or are subservient to any sins, or anything at all with us.
